Vanilla Cream Soda Syrup

Ingredients:

3 1/2 Cup Water

3 Cups. White Sugar

1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar

3 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

Directions:

Gently stir water, white sugar, and light brown sugar together in a saucepan over medium heat. The syrup will expand during heating, so be sure to pick a large enough saucepan.

When it reaches a simmer, cook for an additional 15 minutes, then remove from heat and allow it to cool completely.

Stir the vanilla extract into the syrup and then bottle.

Makes about 32 ounces.

Pour about a Tablespoon of syrup into a glass, then fill with seltzer or soda water. Add whipped cream for an Italian style cream soda.
